CRL Tin Side Detectors have been used on laminated glass, screen printing, tempered glass, and specialty coating applications. Based on customer requests, they incorporated new features into the New Commercial Tin Side Detector resulting in truly superior technology. The momentary power switch allows users to pulse the lamp, making it much easier to see the tin side glow. When placed on the non-tin side, the lamp image appears normal. The instrument can test clear float glass or glass that has other specialty coatings applied to it in most applications.
