This CRL Single Glass Shelf Support is very easy-to-install, and keeps either glass, acrylic or wood shelves firmly in place with three rubber cushion rings that also prevent scratching or chipping of shelf. The Support requires a 1/4" (6 mm) drilled hole in the side panel, and works with glass thicknesses from 3/16" to 1/4" (5 to 6 mm). The included 1/4"-20 threaded rod may be replaced with either longer threaded rods (AS14 Series) for thicker non-glass substrates or Hanger Bolt (HB14 Series) for attaching directly into a wood stud.
Wood & metal substrates require a 1/4" (6 mm) diameter thru-hole in order to accept the threaded stud of the Shelf Rest. When attaching to glass panels, a 3/8" (10 mm) hole is required. The 1/4"-20 threaded rod may be replaced with a Hanger Bolt for attaching directly into a wood stud.
