Product Overview
  • Provide Added Security by Preventing Loads From Tilting Due to Wind Pressure
  • Engaged While a Crane Moves the Load into Position and Disengaged When the Operator is Ready to Tilt the Load

Tilt Locks are available for most Wood's Quadra-Tilt Rotators (MRTA Series). They come standard with a four-bar tilt mechanism that automatically holds a load in the upright or the flat position. Tilt Locks provide added security by preventing loads from tilting due to wind pressure or unforeseen events. This is particularly useful when using the vacuum lifter to install windows in multi-story buildings and for similar applications. In such instances, Tilt Locks can be engaged while a crane moves the load into position and disengaged whenever the operator is ready to tilt the load. Must be ordered at time of lifter purchase (cannot be retrofitted).
