Product Overview
  • Drill Your Own Holes and Save Fabrication Costs
  • Starter Set Includes Our Reliable Tripod Glass Drilling Machine and Five of the Most Popular Diameters of Diamond Drills
  • It's a Truly Affordable Start-Up System for Glass Fabrication

Our Glass Drilling Starter Set has everything you need to begin drilling holes in glass up to 3/4" (19 mm) thick. The CRL Glass Drilling Starter Kit features a powerful variable speed motor, a heavy-duty 3/8" (10 mm) chuck, a micro-depth adjustment feature, and non-skid rubber feet. It accepts drills up to 6" (152 mm) in diameter.

CRL stocks a complete range of EDD Series Diamond Drills in diameters from 1/8" to 6" (3.2 to 152 mm). Their sturdy solid steel construction allows quick hole drilling with clean break-outs. This set contains five of our most called for diameters: 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", 1", and 2".

To start drilling simply prepare a 50:1 ratio mix of water and our DTC80QT Diamond Tool Coolant and pour the solution into the RR65 Suction Drilling Ring over the position of the intended hole. Turn on the machine and lower the drill onto the glass, occasionally lifting the drill to allow coolant back into the cut until the drill completes the hole. It’s a very simple and safe method for drilling glass and mirror.NOTE: For our customers in Australia and Europe we offer a Starter Kit with EDD Series Diamond Drills in these Metric sizes: 6, 8, 10, 16, and 60 mm. The Drilling Machine is the same as our CRL2, only in a 240 Volt model. Specify Cat. No. AU3DK.

STARTER SET INCLUDES:
  • 1 each CRL2 Glass Drilling Machine
  • 1 quart DTC80QT Diamond Tool Coolant Concentrate
  • 1 each RR65 Suction Drilling Ring
  • and 1 each of our EDD Series Diamond Drills in diameters of 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", 1", and 2"
