This handy Tape Rule has an ergonomic case design with a molded rubber grip which provides for both user comfort and durability. It reads in both fractional and metric sizes on top of the blade, however when measuring vertically, simply turn the blade over and the digits read horizontally. The self-locking blade has a brake release on both the top and bottom of the case. The blade is nylon coated for durability and corrosion resistance.
