The CRL Plumb Perfect Level® is a heavy duty expanding level available in two convenient sizes. The PPL42 expands from 24 to 42" (610 mm to 1.07 mm) while the larger Cat. No. PPL98 expands from 56 to 98" (1.42 to 2.49 m). Both units feature precision spirit levels for vertical and horizontal leveling as well as unique "out" gap scales. By dialing out the gap scale and centering the vertical spirit level, you get an exact read on the out-of-plumb dimension of the wall or other substrate. The sliding length adjustment function can be locked in place with the four knurled lock screws which fasten down onto a friction layer on the core of each tool. PPL levels are sold each.
