This CRL Heavy-Duty Air Flotation for CRL CHT Series Custom Hydraulic Tilt-Top Glass Cutting Table makes maneuvering glass on the table's surface safe and easy. Installed during the construction of the table, a sealed cavity beneath the table's surface which is perforated with hundreds of small openings, is filled with high pressure air provided by two, three horsepower motors. When glass is placed on the table while the air flotation is powered, the forced air beneath the glass raises the glass as it escapes around it's edges. This cushion of air lets the operator move the glass effortlessly into position for scoring or over a break bar for break out.

The system allows flotation of glass up to 3/4" (19 mm) thick on the CHT10X12 table and up to 1/2" (12 mm) thick on the CHT12X18 table. If 3/4" (19 mm) thick glass flotation is required for the CHT12X18 a third three horsepower motor can be special ordered.
