The CRL Safety Door Closer is both powerful and versatile. This closer is designed for use on both left or right handed inswinging doors. Made with a diecast body, and having twin torsion springs, this closer will work on doors weighing up to 150 pounds (68 kg). Tested EN Part 1 Suitable for 1/2 hour and 1 hour fire doors. Simply mount the closer body to the jamb of the door, and use the longer closer bar and shorter adjuster bar to wind the barrel to the desired strength. Thread the long bar into one of the holes in the barrel and allow this bar to lay against the door face. Lay the plastic anti-scratch cradle underneath the bar and affix to the door with a single screw.
