Perched on a hilltop with expansive views of one of the area’s most famous districts, the Pendry West Hollywood features a design that includes spacious floor plans, multiple chef-driven food and beverage outlets, a rooftop pool and bar, a multi-purpose live entertainment venue, a screening room, bowling alley, fitness center, and a curated art collection.

Understanding that taking advantage of the views should be a major component in the project’s design, EYRC Architects sought to maximize exposure to the scenic vista and sweeping Los Angeles views in all upper level exterior spaces.

To minimize visual barriers and reveal the panoramic view to its fullest, architects specified the CRL’s GRS Glass Railing System. More than 3,000 linear feet of the railings were installed around all balconies and rooftop lounge areas. With minimal hardware, the system delivers uninterrupted glass spans. The system was specified with cap rails and laminated glass to ensure safety and structural performance.

As a result, the GRS Glass Railing System provides a dependable safety barrier that is able to heighten the occupant experience with unbroken sightlines, making the view one of the primary focal points of the entire project.
