Developed by a high-volume remodeling contractor, the CRL Wood's Ladder Lifter makes second story window installations safer and easier than ever. The ladder lifter quickly clamps onto the rungs of your ladder with the pulley assembly on top, and the braking winch assembly near the bottom. Suspended from the 30' (9.14 m) long galvanized steel cable is the adjustable width hand cup lifter bar that uses two Cat. No. W4950 Metal 8" (203 mm) Vacuum Cups that you attach to the glass. Cups can be positioned along the bar to span exterior muntin when required.

You can easily lift up to 185 lbs. (84 kg) safely using the winch to precisely position the window unit. Using a second ladder the window can then be fitted and sealed into place. Because the ladder lifter uses a special "Braking" winch there is no need to flip levers to lock the unit into place. Just release the winch handle and you are locked into position. To lower the lifter bar simply rotate the winch handle counterclockwise.

Typical installations require only a two-person crew and two hours to complete because there is no time lost staging and disassembling scaffolding, so payback for your ladder lifter is fast.

NOTE: Use only where the Vacuum Cups can be monitored and re-pumped if necessary. When Ladder Lifter is attached, the ladder may not be used to support workers. Ladders used in conjunction with the Ladder Lifter must have a minimum load capacity of 375 lbs. (170 kg).
