The CRL T-Square has several advantages over conventional L-Squares. One advantage is when you are cutting tall, narrow pieces of glass where there is not enough glass on either side of the cut to give a stable true square of the cutting arm. The 'T' is not limited to squaring up on just one side of the cut.
