These Standard Plated Diamond Drills are designed as a cost-effective method of general glass drilling. The sturdy, solid steel construction of these drills allows quick hole drilling with clean break-outs. All sizes of CRL Standard Plated Diamond Drills have 3/8" (10 mm) diameter shanks. Although plated, these drills may be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone after they are totally worn out to expose some of the remaining diamonds. This will extend their work life, helping to maximize your investment.

Cut your cost per drill when you order one of the Sets listed below which includes the most popular sizes. Also available is a Drill Starter Kit that includes the popular CRL2 Drilling Machine, Coolant, Drilling Ring, and five EDD Glass Drills.

NOTE: Always wear the proper safety gear, including eye protection, when drilling glass. Work should be performed on a flat, horizontal surface. A Cat. No. GF1 Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt Device is recommended when using any type of electric tool in conjunction with water or coolant. Failure to follow any of these precautions can result in operator injury.
