This CRL 155º Wheel Holder for 1550CC Oval Cutter fits into the 1550CC Oval Cutter head and is intended for heavy plate cutting, up to 3/4" (19 mm). The 155055 holder is a finely machined steel jacket that encloses and protects a precision ground tungsten carbide cutting wheel. The holder attaches to the 1550CC head shaft via set screw and tightly nests the holder against the wick feeding oil from the oil reservoir in the head. This system provides a constant coating of oil to the cutting wheel and extends the life of the wheel. The shaft protrudes from a ball bearing swivel mount allowing the holder to swivel 360º and accurately trail the cutting head.
