The CRL 36000 Portable Vacuum Blaster uses siphon technology with the addition of a powerful 115V AC electric vacuum. Pressurized air is fed through the blaster gun which siphons the abrasive into the gun via a separate hose. A third vacuum hose is attached to a hood surrounding the spray nozzle. This captures the abrasive into the hood and returns it to the tank. The hose length is 8-1/2' (2.6 m), and two 1/4" (6 mm) nozzles are included, (one ceramic and one carbide) delivering 8 CFM (3,776 cm/sec) at 80 PSI. Tank capacity is 40 lbs. (18 kg). The Blaster requires a compressor that can deliver both 8 CFM (3,776 cm/sec) at 75 PSI (5.2 bars) or 22 CFM (10,382 cm/sec) at 160 PSI (11.0 bars).
