Product Overview
  • Smooth Out Glazing Vinyl or Shade Screen
  • Finished Contoured Wood Handle
  • 2" (50.8 mm) Wide Roller for Smoothing Flat Spline and 2" x 1/8" Spline Roller

The rollers on this combination CRL Nylon Flat Edge Roller and Spline Tool are riveted to a steel yoke, and mounted to a contour-grip, finished wood handle. Use it to smooth out flat spline or to insert glazing vinyl prior to insertion in the frame.

Helpful Tip for Rolling Fiberglass Screens: Before rolling your spline (with screen wire), into the bottom of the spline groove on the first pass, use this Steel Flat Edge Roller Tool to first seat the spline into the top of the spline groove. Once you have the completed the entire frame, go back and use your Concave Edge Roller to finish inserting the spline with screen wire. This method helps to eliminate some of the hourglass bow-in of the frame caused by rolling the screen too tightly into the frame.
