The CRL Insulating Glass Hot Trim Knife trims excess hot melt butyl from single or stacked units. It's the fast and efficient way to finish off single or dual sealed hot melt butyl units. This light, easy-to-handle Knife also can be used to cut up large slugs of hot melt butyl sealant for faster melting in a thermal extruder system.

Replacement Tips are available when the current Tip on your Hot Trim Knife becomes worn and caked with excess butyl. These solid brass Tips can be used for a long time before being replaced.

Product Warning:

IMPORTANT: Please ensure that tip is FULLY inserted into the soldering unit before operating it or turning it ON. Failure to fully engage the tip in the unit will affect iron and element life.".

Always follow all manufacturer's safety precautions when using this product. Hot melt butyl guns can cause burns to the skin. Always wear the proper protective safety equipment to avoid injury. Warranty on this tool is 90 days for manufacturer's defects.
