Our new DRS 1202 Interior Glass Door System is a one-of-a-kind entrance system because it doesn’t require a top or bottom rail, resulting in a distinct all-glass aesthetic. This is made possible by our innovative in-rail hydraulic closing mechanism that’s concealed within the slim 2" vertical pivot tube. As an added benefit, installation is faster and easier because you no longer have to cut into the floor to install a conventional closer. Customizable features of the DRS 1202 Series include:
- Three different spring tensions
- Adjustable closing speed
- Glass or wall mountable
- Transom hardware for entrances up to 127" high
- A variety of sidelite, transom, and wall configurations
- Five architectural finishes; custom paint option
- Double acting hold open or no hold open options
- Accommodates vast selection of handles, pulls, and locks
The DRS 1202 Series has a round vertical rail design that prevents finger pinch when opening and closing doors. The system can be used with 3/8" and 1/2" monolithic tempered glass, or 9/16" laminated tempered glass with ionoplast interlayer. The DRS 1202 Series was a winner in its category during Architectural Record’s 2016 Record Products competition.
