Over the last decade, the industry has made significant advancements in how project teams are able to leverage the benefits of glass in their buildings. CRL-U.S. Aluminum takes pride in the contributions we’ve made that have enabled architects to realize their design intent without sacrificing performance—most importantly with glass. We invite you to join us in Orlando for the annual AIA Conference on Architecture, where we’ll be demonstrating these capabilities. Join us in booth #1163 on the main aisle (next to the CE theaters), where we’ll be debuting innovative new solutions across every major product category. Our booth will be staffed with our roster of CSI, CDT certified architectural sales representatives and technical hardware specialists. They will be available for on-site consultations and live product demonstrations.

For those of you seeking innovative solutions, inspiration, and a project partner that provides single-source solutions and support throughout all phases of your project, we extend a warm welcome.

Frameless Glass Railing Systems
C.R. Laurence has partnered directly with the International Code Council (ICC) to develop acceptance criteria to take the guesswork out of railing code compliancy–an effort that aligns with our decades-long commitment to developing innovative systems that enhance safety and aesthetics. In doing so, CRL GRS TAPER-LOC® Glass Railing Systems for monolithic and laminated glass have received ICC-ES approval; a first for CRL, a first for ICC, and a credential offered by no other base shoe system. The patented dry-glaze system also features a multiple hollow base shoe design that makes it 30% lighter than standard base shoes. Because it uses less material, it is a green product that qualifies for LEED credits.

• ICC-ES Approval ESR-3269 (Monolithic)
• ICC-ES Approval ESR-3842 (Laminated)
• 2015 IBC Section 2407 Compliant
  • Large Missile Impact Tested (Laminated)
• Satisfies L.A. Department of
Building Safety (LARR)

Entice

Entice® Entrance System
A first of its kind, Entice combines all-glass aesthetics with full-frame performance. It features ultra-thin 1-1/8" vertical stiles and thermally broken cladding that produces U-factors as low as 0.33. The system also has the unique ability to support door handle hardware on 1" insulating glass panels using proprietary through-glass fittings. Entice was the recipient of Architectural Record’s “Best in Category” award. It also received the “Product Innovation Award” from Architectural Products.

Transpara

Transpara™ Vertically
Frameless Shower Door System

Transpara provides all-glass aesthetics by eliminating the need for door hinges and vertical framing. This produces a striking shower enclosure with uninterrupted glass spans from wall to wall. Low-profile top and bottom rails further enhance visuals. Transpara was an “Editor’s Choice” during Architectural Record’s 2016 Record Products competition.

  Double Glazed

487 Double Glazed Office Partition

The acoustically-rated 487 Double Glazed Office Partition System offers an optimal STC rating compared to traditional office partition systems. This reduces sound transmission while allowing ample natural light to flow through building interiors. The 487 Double Glazed Office Partition accommodates standard and acoustic doors, along with a variety of glass including switchable privacy glass.

StormWall XL

StormWall™ XL
Hurricane-Resistant Curtain Wall

The NFRC-rated StormWall XL Curtain Wall is engineered to meet the most demanding performance requirements in areas exposed to hurricane winds and airborne debris. The system is Miami-Dade Certified (NOA), has Florida Product Approval, and meets a design pressure of up to +100/-100 psf. With U-factors as low as 0.38, the system easily satisfies the Florida Building Code Fifth Edition (2014) Energy Conservation requirement.

  Monterey

Monterey™ Bi-Folding Door System

Monterey creates transformative spaces. Top-hung bi-folding glass panels open with minimal effort and stack to the side, creating expansive views and a seamless transition to the outdoors. The system has recently been upgraded with stainless steel hardware for improved performance. Monterey has Florida Product Approval and comes in a thermally broken option. The system was the winner of Window & Door Magazine’s “Most Innovative Door” award.
