CRL’s innovative 8B Series for monolithic glass - and 9BL for laminated glass - railing systems are now in stock and ready to ship from a local CRL service center. The 9BL Base Shoe is a dry glaze system featuring honeycomb negative spaces that make it 30% lighter than standard base shoes. This simplifies handling and installation, and also reduces shipping costs. The base shoe is designed to meet 2015 IBC code revisions requiring laminated glass in guardrail applications.

CRL Awarded Over Two Miles of Aluminum Railing at Multi-Million Dollar Mariners Bay Apartments
Located in Marina Del Rey, California, Mariners Bay Apartments is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation to give the complex a sophisticated, yet casual seaside feel. The over 370 updated balconies will feature two miles of ARS Aluminum Railing System from CRL. The ARS System incorporates tempered glass, which will allow unobstructed views of the surrounding marina. It’s also engineered to meet all applicable building codes.
