Our industry-leading GRS TAPER-LOC® Glass Railing System just got better with new Safety Seal technology! Normally, glaziers need to reach over a glass railing to roll in the drop-side rubber seal. This action increases the risk of injury because glaziers can fall over the railing. It also prolongs the installation process. The Safety Seal eliminates this step because it’s installed in the base shoe before the glass is, making your job safer and easier.
The new Safety Seal is the latest benefit to those our GRS TAPER-LOC® Glass Railing System already has to offer. For example, our patented TAPER-LOC® dry-glaze system reduces installation time by as much as 50%. Over 2500 Linear Feet of CRL Railing Installed at the New LA Federal Courthouse
Designed and engineered by SOM, the new Los Angeles Federal Courthouse is a 10-story, 633,000-square-foot facility containing 24 courtrooms and 32 justice chambers. CRL was selected to provide over 2500 linear feet of custom TAPER-LOC® L21S Glass Railing to enhance the aesthetics and function of the state-of-the-art structure. Installed by Golden Glass, the TAPER-LOC® L21S Glass Railing System can reduce installation time by more than 50% compared to wet-glaze systems. It also offers a precision torque tool that prevents overtightening and simplifies glass adjustment.
