The new 9BL Series Base Shoe for laminated tempered glass railing systems is engineered for handrail, guardrail, and windscreen applications. 30% lighter than traditional base shoes, the 9BL Series simplifies handling and installation, and also reduces shipping costs.

Revisions were made to the International Building Code (IBC) this year. CRL 9BL Series Base Shoe was designed to meet these code revisions and has gone a step further by being the only laminated system that is pursuing ICC Evaluation Service approval.

The TAPER-LOC X1 System features a new 2-piece taper set and supports a wide range of laminated glass thicknesses. A reinforced polycarbonate isolator has pre-installed adhesive tape for faster placement, and because it's a dry glaze system, installation time can be reduced by more than 50%.
